ABOUT MSOA
The Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology (MSOA), founded in 1987, is an organization that supports scientific activities with a scientific journal and biannual scientific meetings.
The idea of a meeting under the auspices of Mediterranean Countries was first inspired by Antonio Quaranta, Jacob Sade, Leonidas Manolidis, Aziz Belal, Moe Bergman, Hassan Soliman and Jose Barajas.
The scientific activities of the Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology shows a great performance since the beginning of 21st Century and continues attracting an increasing number of scientists from the entire region.
The sociery first published its scientific journal, The Mediterranean Journal of Otology, in 2005. Thanks to a high interest from all around the world, the sociery renamed the journal to The Journal of International Advanced Otology in 2009. Within the same year the journal was accepted to be indexed Thomson Scientific to be included in SCI-E. Currently, the Journal is published three times a year, each issue covering 25 articles.
The society exhibits a unique model of amity and relations that will stay forever among the countries.
